Bloomington Realtors Take on the America in Bloom Challenge

By Evelyn Alemanni

Bloomington, Indiana, a national America in Bloom winner in 2010, credits their Board of Realtors with getting the city started with America in Bloom. Their Board of Realtors is charged with the goal of community involvement, and Realtor Gretchen Scott was enthusiastic that participating in America in Bloom would certainly meet that need.

In fact, she was so excited about how AIB involvement helped pull the town together, that she suggested AIB should have a booth at the National Realtors' Convention in November 2010. Here's a photo of AIB judge and Board member, Jack Clasen explaining the benefits of the program to one of the realtors attending the show.

There was so much interest, in fact, that we've been invited to submit articles regularly to the Real Estate Professional magazine. Watch for them at www.therealestatepro.com.
