Only two weeks left to register for the 2011 America in Bloom Program
America in Bloom is all about building community. People from many of our participating towns have become like family to one another, staying informed of each other's projects, successes, and triumphs, and even challenging each other to do more and better (more on that in a few days).
Taking part in America in Bloom year after year demonstrates that your town is focused on continuous improvements, on creating projects the engage every demographic, and on sharing what you do so well with other towns.
If we compared America in Bloom to the Olympics, we would be among many of the nations that have "In Bloom" programs - England, Ireland, Canada, Japan, just to name a few. We'd be intent on bringing home the gold.
Well, you can't bring home the gold unless you compete. That's a given. So keep the registration deadline in mind - February 28, 2011. You can download registration forms from www.americainbloom.org/The-Contest/Register-Now!.aspx.
