Some years ago, I was asked to contribute a chapter to a book called "The Non-Profit Management Handbook." Because of my experience as chair of the town council for a small rural community, I chose to write "Communicating Your Cause". It was intended as a resource to help grassroots organizations communicate to and with their various publics, something that had never been done before.

Though The Non-Profit Management Handbook was a best-seller for a few years, it eventually went out of print. Our America in Bloom towns and cities need the information from that chapter so they can  promote all the wonderful and exciting things that they're doing.
