Plantsmap.com Invites AIB Participants to Showcase Their Story of Planting Community Pride
By Tracy Blevins

Plants Map is proud to be a new sponsor of America in Bloom. We are excited to have the opportunity to invite participants to showcase their community beautification plantings on PlantsMap.com and share a special offer on ordering our interactive plant tags and signs. PlantsMap.com is a free, mobile-friendly website that hosts digital plant collections with photos, growing details, notes, mapping, and tagging tools. Organization profiles can be used as an all-in-one tool to document and showcase your community plantings for the purposes of educational outreach, visitor engagement, tourism and marketing.

On Plantsmap.com your organization can:
·         Create a digital plant library to share the story of your plants with a photo gallery, plant details, growing information, reference links, and notes.
·         Organize your plantings into collections to guide visitors through your trails, parks, pollinator plantings and more.
·         Create online maps to make it easy for visitors to find and explore your collections and plants.
·         Engage visitors with interactive plant tags and signs that enhance their experience by connecting their smartphones and mobile devices to information about your AIB plantings.
·         Grow a network of volunteers or key supporters can show their participation in your America in Bloom project.
·         Invite multiple individuals to become admins to share in updating plant information, making it easy to keep records current and accurate.

As a sponsor of America in Bloom, Plants Map has created a custom America in Bloom template option that displays the AIB logo on our interactive tags and signs to communicate to everyone who visits your community that you are an AIB participant.

SPECIAL OFFER: Plants Map is also offering a $100 tag order credit to each 2016 AIB registered community. To receive this offer, just follow these steps:
·         Begin one organization profile for your registered 2016 AIB community.
·         Begin adding plants from your AIB projects to your My Plants Map library.
·         Use the My Tags feature to begin your order.
·         Submit your tag order no later than June 13, 2016.

Since 2014, Plantsmap.com has become a popular choice for public gardens, parks, trails, universities and other landscapes to help them manage their plant collections as well as to document them for their visitors and supporters.  Visit our Featured Profiles journal series to learn how others are using Plants Map to help grow their world. We look forward to seeing America in Bloom participants join our community.

Please feel free to contact Tracy Blevins with any questions about our offer or how to get started. We also invite you to join one of our online demos on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. ET. Best wishes for a fantastic 2016 America in Bloom growing season from Plantsmap.com.
